On this page we provide the FAQs regarding our Bahasa Indonesia study below. Nowadays there are more and more English speaking people who would like to learn Indonesian online. They are not only expatriates who are currently working in Indonesia, but also those who plan to visit Indonesia in the near future, whether they are business people, researchers, Indonesian language teachers, or even those who have deep interest in Indonesian cultures. Learning Indonesian language is considered important prior to coming to Indonesia due to the fact that most Indonesian people can hardly understand nor speak the English language. The Indonesian language is also considered as one of the easiest languages in the whole world, therefore it should not be a problem at all for the English speaking people to learn and finally master the language within a short period of time.
Bahasa Indonesia Study FAQs:
Q: How Long to Learn Indonesian Language Online
A: The answer depends on each individual’s skill and capability. Some students have shown meaningful progress only within 1 to 3 months or even less, while others might take longer time or even shorter time, especially those who take intensive courses.
Our recommended learning hours for online lesson would be twice to three times a week, for 1.5 hours to 2 hours for each session. However you are also welcome if you’d like to take intensive training for 5 days a week, 3 to 6 hours a day, whichever is more convenient to you.
Q: What is the schedule like for Bahasa Indonesia lesson online?
A: We are available every day, from Monday to Sunday, including public holidays such as Christmas and New Year, from 7 am to 8 pm Jakarta time.
Q: Do you provide private lesson?
A: Yes, we provide private Bahasa Indonesia lesson only, meaning 1 tutor for 1 student.
Q: Can the teacher speak English?
A: Yes, our Bahasa Indonesia lesson is delivered in English, so you don’t need to worry about it.
Q: How long is the lesson for each learning session?
A: Normally the lesson lasts for minimum of 1 hour for each session. However as it is private lesson, please feel free to let us know if you’d like to learn for more than 1 hour, say 1.5 hours to 4 or 5 hours. Normally online lesson lasts for 1 to 2 hours while direct lesson in Bandung, Indonesia, can last longer than that depending on each student’s schedule and preference.
Q: Is there any discount if I decide to learn for more than 3 months in advance?
A: We can give you a 10%-discount for those who make payment for 3 months in advance.
Q: Is it possible if I wish to reschedule the lesson?
A: You can reschedule the lesson only if you give us at least 12-hour notice before the already agreed lesson, otherwise no rescheduling is possible.
Q: Is it possible if I wish to learn outside your normal schedule?
A: Yes, we offer flexible learning schedule, and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you wish to learn outside our usual learning hours.
Q: Can I use my own learning materials?
A: Yes, please do let us know if you’d like to use your own preferred learning materials. You can also send us either the hard or soft copy days before the lesson starts.
Q: Is it possible to have direct (face-to-face) Bahasa Indonesia lesson offline in Bandung?
A: Yes, we do offer Bahasa Indonesia lesson for those residing in Bandung area only. We can send our teacher either to your home or office with additional transportation cost.
Q: As I can only stay in Bandung for 30 days by using my tourist visa, can I have intensive Bahasa Indonesia lesson?
A: Yes, that is very possible. You can study Indonesian language with us intensively, say 3 to 6 hours a day, depending on your schedule.
Q: Do you offer visa for the students?
A: Truly sorry at this moment we don’t offer visa for the students, however we can only produce a letter confirming that you are one of our students who are learning Indonesian language with us.
